Office
Diocesan Architects was established as a Company in 1994 to provide architectural design and project management services to the Voluntary Aided Church of England schools in the Diocese of Canterbury, through the Diocesan Board of Education.
The Company, with its keen sense of professionalism has evolved into an award winning architectural practice providing creative architectural design for new schools with sustainability as a key principle. The company also endeavours, through its Schools Consultancy Service, to enhance, improve and maintain existing school buildings.
With the practice move from Canterbury in 2006 to its present rural location at Throwley, Faversham it has enabled the Company to expand its architectural team and portfolio to realise industrial, residential and conservation commissions.
As a practice, Diocesan Architects aims to combine considered design, environmental needs, the site and it’s context to generate architecture. This, coupled with overall project management skills, forms a strong base from which to meet the aims, aspirations and needs of our clients.
